Dr. Yvonne has been an educator for over 20 years. She started as a substitute teacher and quickly realized something was missing; there was no training. In her research she found that students lose an average of one full year of education with untrained substitutes in the classrooms. Upon completing her Dissertation studies in 2011 she decided to take the next steps by creating a curriculum designed to assist substitute teachers be more effective in the classroom, in an effort to help bridge the educational gap.
